New CFO: Maurice de Wilde

Maurice de Wilde has been appointed CFO of Koopman Logistics Group in Noordhorn as of October 1st 2017. De Wilde joins Koopman from the Dutch Shell subsidiary GasTerra and brings a wide range of international management experience.

Koopman Logistics Group offers OEM's, vehicle importers, retailers, leasing companies, rental car companies and other fleet owners turn-key logistic services and has become the largest player in the Benelux in this field. CEO Jon Kuiper sees major opportunities for the future: “The markets in which we act are presently evolving significantly. With our customers we focus on an integral approach for our common processes. By working this way, we believe we can achieve major breakthroughs in our business. We aim to further strenghten our position as a leading logistics provider in finished vehicle logistics. After finishing his study at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, Maurice de Wilde started his career at Price Waterhouse Netherlands. He joined Shell and had several roles in the Netherlands and abroad. In 2013 he and his family returned to the Netherlands and Maurice de Willde was appointed CFO at the Dutch Shell subsidiary GasTerra. Regarding his new job at Koopman Logistics Group he says: “I look forward to this next step in my career with great pleasure. The branch in which Koopman Logistics Group acts appeals to me very much.”
