(hereinafter referred to as: "Koopman"), respects your privacy and greatly values effective processing of your personal data, which is why Koopman processes personal data according to the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as: the "GDPR").

 

Personal data

Any form of information that can be directly or indirectly traced to a person, is personal data. Examples of personal data that may be processed by Koopman include:


- Contact data such as name, address and place of residence;
- E-mail address of a person and a telephone number;
- Data relating to a device you use to visit our website, such as for example an IP address;
- Registration number of a vehicle, for the delivery or collection of a vehicle;
- Administrative data of a sole owner business, self-employed person, partners and charters;
- Photos or videos of persons

 

Koopman will exercise great care with the data provided by you to us, or acquired by Koopman for the purpose of the targets and on the basis of the principles. The data will only be processed in order to perform the working processes effectively.

 

Principles


Koopman processes your personal data on the basis of one or more of the following legal grounds:

- Your permission;
- Performance of a contract;
- Compliance with a statutory obligation;
- A justifiable interest.


Period of storage


Koopman will not store your data longer than is necessary for the purpose described in this privacy statement. Koopman will also not store data longer than described in the applicable legislation.


Sharing personal data


In certain cases, we can share your personal data with third parties, including but not limited to:

- Third parties relevant for absenteeism of personnel, such as the Occupational health medical officer.
- External suppliers necessary to achieve the Koopman targets, such as ICT suppliers, suppliers of communication services or other suppliers to whom we contract out certain auxiliary services.
- The cooperation with partners, charters or other contracted third parties, whereby it is important that personal data is shared in order that work may be performed effectively/targets achieved.


Your personal data will only be shared on the basis of the principles stated in this privacy statement. All companies are individually responsible for compliance with privacy legislation. Koopman is therefore neither responsible nor liable for the processing of your personal data by a third party. Insofar a third party processes your personal data in the role of processor on behalf of Koopman, Koopman will enter into a processing contract with this third party, that must comply with the requirements of privacy legislation. In other words, Koopman enters into a processing agreement with any third party required by Koopman to process personal data.

A cookie is a compact piece of information stored on your computer. A cookie supports retention of your data, for example. During your visit to www.koopman.nl, this cookie is created and referred to by our systems. Most browsers accept cookies, but it is generally possible to change the settings of a browser, so that it no longer accepts cookies.

Rights of persons involved

You must hereby take into account, however, that there are circumstances in which we are legally authorised to refuse your request.

- Right of limitation
You may request that we process less data.

- Right of data portability
This means that you are entitled to receive your data, whereby you are entitled to transfer these data to another responsible party.

- Right of objection
You are entitled to object to the processing of your data.

- The right to revoke permission to process your data
